42nd Annual Carmel Valley Garden Show

May 7th and 8th, 2011 9AM to 4PM

At the Hidden Valley Institute for the Arts, Free Admission

Carmel Valley’s exceptional family-friendly outdoor event – is fast approaching. Carmel Valley Garden Association and theCarmel Orchid Society have formally ‘grown’ together!

“Carmel Valley Garden Show” features an extensive variety of cut flowers, Orchids, artistic flower arrangements, a silent auction and a raffle, a children’s discovery garden with many unique gardening activities, and plants at bargain prices. We also include art, orchid, and garden vendors.

Every year it is exciting to see how many gorgeous floral specimens and arrangements make their way from our gardens and workshops onto these tables to create this amazing exhibit. The flower exhibit is professionally judged early on Saturday morning. Come by at noon to see the results. And don’t forget to cast your popular vote!

Through our donations we've designed and planted the courtyard garden at Carmel Valley Library; cared for and maintained Rosie’s Garden adjacent to the Carmel River Bridge; installed and cared for the Cymbidium Garden at Westland House; designed and installed an educational native plant area at Garland Park, and we’re instrumental in orchid education and conservation. Additionally, we generously donate to various non-profit organizations around the Monterey Peninsula.
